Junya Watanabe MAN x New Balance 650 - Black / Black

 

New Balance has announced a collaboration with JUNYA WATANABE MAN. The 'JUNYA
WATANABE MAN × New Balance 650', which was presented at the Paris Men's Fashion
Week in January 2023, will be released on September 29th globally, and on October 6th at
select stores in Japan.

In 1989, New Balance introduced basketball competition shoes PRIDE 650 (high-cut),
PRIDE 645 (mid-cut), and PRIDE 550 (low-cut), characterized by their shock absorption
and cushioning. Of these, the 650 has been reissued and updated to the JUNYA
WATANABE MAN version.
Consistently expressed using various parts and materials in black, the JUNYA
WATANABE MAN FW23 collection matches the footwear, which is crafted like a
patchwork using various different black materials.
The refined, classic high-cut basketball shoe is available in two colors.
One in black × phantom, made of mesh/smooth leather/embossed leather, and the
other in black × white, finished in a combination of suede/embossed leather/synthetic
leather.
The shoes feature a co-branded logo on the tongue label and insert.
