WAREHOUSE & CO. - SELVEDGE BANDANA (GEOMETRIC PATTERN)

¥9,100

This bandana incorporates the three major elements of a vintage bandana: large, double-eared, and indigo. As bandanas were worn on the body and used to wipe away sweat, they were washed frequently, and color fading was the biggest issue. For this reason, bandanas are printed with "COLOR FAST" using reactive dyes that are highly fast and do not fade easily.
Many indigo bandanas are from before World War II, and the beautiful color fading that is unique to indigo, which can be considered a by-product, attracts not only collectors but also many fans. At Warehouse, we use a loom that can weave double-eared fabric to weave indigo-dyed thread and reproduce the pattern with discharge printing, recreating a bandana that allows you to enjoy the beautiful fading of the vivid indigo.
