The ultimate boro pattern now as shorts!
Boro is an Edo era mending technique that is done by gathering old indigo cotton cloth, patching it to worn out garments. Over time, repeatedly repairing it with layers of sashiko stitching protected the wearer from harsh winter climates.
The shorts show extensive signs of wear, with multiple layers of fabric of different thicknesses layered on top of each other to replicate the historic technique.
